Song Parody of Change ( Turning Points)
Changes by Chelle & Omri
NEOLITHIC REVOLUTION :
Let’s talk about changes
No more hunting , gathering , and arrangements
Now we’re mobile and global
and remain hopeful that
we can move to obtain our food
no need to stay put
unless we’re sleeping in our hut
Some would say that this is revolutionary
i would agree yea , this is revolutionary
i went from hunting animals so i could sleep
now i train animals to help plant the wheat
it gets better when i need help ; financial aid
if i ain’t got the money , i’ll take a chicken and trade
no need to wait , i could create what i want to eat
the food is right in front of me , i could see.
not like the times when we was wild free
now theres a group of people fake controlling me.
now a days it’s all about planning ,
wake up start farming , time - to -time buying
and all the trading to assure that i survive
and provide a better life for my kids and wife
SCIENTIFIC REVOLUTION : The history of the telescope dates back to the early 1600’s . Galileo is commonly credited for inventing the telescope . Galileo was the first to use a telescope for the purpose of Astronomy in 1609. Isaac Newton discovered that gravity was relative to motion. He discovered it by watching the apple fall from the tree. Johannes Kepler discovered the planets move in in elliptical orbits with Sun at focus . The scientific Revolution made people open to new technologies, it also was when multiple technologies were invented in a short amount of time, people also thought more about inventing and discovering solutions to current problems.
Breakthroughs are what we destined to do
i’ll have some more , are they any on the menu (x4)
INDUSTRIAL REVOLUTION:
Now there’s comes a change for the children
it requires caution and using an engine
but they said it’s worth the hard work and labor
i don’t agree , you don’t believe me ; ask a neighbor
i mean it’s great all the technology being made
it’s even greater all the jobs , and they getting paid
but forcing children to work 12 hours a day
with little food , no education to pave a way
for future opportunities to happen
instead the feel as if they’re trapped inside a prison
broken arms , infected lungs
they’re way too young
they can’t even complain about the pain
not even one word , no tongue
what are the owners doing , they don’t even care
as long as jobs are getting done they act unaware
if this is your idea of revolutionary
i guess inventions qualify ; revolutionary
but putting children through this ; tragedy
